Locke is a trainer native to Unova. She isn't very wealthy - and she honestly prefers it that way. She is a prodigy at skill games with ticket rewards or prizes, to which she uses such as gift cards or iPods. Seriously just a big hipster. She can be a bit of a money spender and prefers low income rent - of $0. She lives in the leftover run down spaces of the old Team Plasma Castle - essentially for free. Yup - Locke is a hobo by choice. She absolutely loves Nevada and doesn't question or know about her previous involvement with Team Plasma.
